Oil and Water draws inspiration from the coastal beauty of Portland, Maine, and the rhythmic dance of opposing forces in nature. Drawing from lunar and solar tides' rhythmic push and pull, the designs reimagine traditional forms with unexpected "backward" details, such as reversed collars and ties.

 

Blending structured denim with flowing satin and chiffon, each piece tells a story of transformation, how garments, like people, can find harmony and belonging when surrounded by the correct elements. Much like oil and Water, destined to separate yet paradoxically beautiful in their resistance, this collection celebrates the beauty of contrasts and the power of coexistence.
