Entrepreneurship Capstone
In an entrepreneurship course, my partner, Becca Parker, and I developed Vella Swim, a brand designed to provide adaptive swimwear for women with ostomies. Our business plan, which blends fashion and function to promote confidence and comfort, earned us first place in the Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship College-by-College Pitch Off for the College of Health and Human Sciences. We later advanced to the university-wide finale, where we received an Honorable Mention in the "New Business" category.
